Sailabration Show


Line Up designed, produced and directed a 30 minute show comprising of music, film, projection mapping, song, dance and acrobatics. A show that evoked the emotional and physical challenges the sailing teams competing in the nine month Volvo Ocean Race would experience. Through perilous stormy seas, warm calm days, the chill of the Southern Ocean and the bracing winds of the Atlantic.

We created content for a bespoke 20 x 7 metre projection wall that extended 5 metres out into the audience. The content team quickly became very knowledgeable on the rich history of the race, viewing and editing together 40 years of footage!

The show ran for 9 months and was performed 28 times to audiences in 9 different countries.

Line Up was responsible for the show concept and creative direction, music and musical arrangements, choreography, talent casting, costumes, screen content, travel logistics and permits.
