Vitol

Corporate film

Brief

The Vitol Group is one of the world's largest independent energy trading companies, extracting, trading, refining, storing and transporting energy around the globe. Having launched their new brand identity, they commissioned a film that would illustrate their scale, scope and reach to a variety of audiences.

Solution

Following shoots at Vitol operations in Amsterdam, Brussels, Rotterdam, UAE and Geneva, Line Up also sourced some stock footage in order to create a representative impression of the sheer size of Vitol’s operation.

Graphics are used throughout the film to feed statistics on product, markets, scale and capacity to viewers, all set to an inspirational and emotive track. An energy stream is a recurring feature in the film that links segments of film and appears to link some of Vitol’s different operations across the globe.

The film has been delivered for various different uses, from screenings on larger formats at exhibitions through to appearing on Vitol’s intranet, website and YouTube.

Outcome

“A great job done. The film is now live and the feedback so far has been excellent. All delivered on time, within budget and in a calm, low maintenance, professional way.”
Mark Ware, Corporate Communications
