Annual members' conference
To design a mobile recording studio to accommodate an X-Factor style talent show on behalf of Octagon client, Vodafone, staging an event at all 9 of Vodafone’s UK call centres.
Line Up created a bespoke 12 metre articulated trailer which was equipped with 2 professional recording booths. Wireless technology enabled uploads of video clips to Vodafone’s intranet site for voting; the outright winner had the opportunity to perform at the infamous Vodafone Ball, Vodstock.
The talent contest created huge internal excitement and boosted intranet hit rates from a monthly average of around 60,000 to a record 380,000 in the month following the tour.
